Division of Student Affairs
At the heart of the University’s Catholic mission is our goal of educating of the whole person, mind, heart, and spirit.
The Division of Student Affairs exists to serve and to enhance student life in each of these areas. We are comprised of ten student-service departments and a number of major administrative units, as well as 29 undergraduate residence halls and two graduate and student-family housing facilities.
Talented, dedicated staff and administrators in Student Affairs strive to serve students and to help them integrate the various facets of their educational experience. Endeavors such as Residential Scholars, MSPS’s Building Bridges Mentoring program, and the Career Center’s Global Internship Initiative allow students to bring together their academic pursuits with their faith, their professional goals, and with opportunities for practical, real-world experience. These exceptional programs enhance student life and provide an unparalleled university experience.
At the University of Notre Dame, the Division of Student Affairs exists to provide and integrate educational opportunities for all students to develop their full potential as individuals and future leaders in our Church, society, and world. We are committed to:
- offering students an opportunity to integrate the intellectual, spiritual, moral, and social dimensions of their educational experience;
- providing students with the highest quality programs and services; and
- building strong collaborative links throughout all branches of the University and with external constituencies.
